There's several shops locally but I have never had anything done at them so I'm not going to recommend anyone. I haven't had to have any thing media blasted in a long time. Always wanted to pick up a small media blaster and do small jobs myself. I just rarely need it.

I'd get much more use out of a welder but can't afford a decent unit and all the supplies.

I have a mig welder, DeWalt 4.5" angle grinder, chop saw, sawzall, small drill press and plenty of common sense. You buy a blaster and we can trade services LOL.

Depending on how big your part is, you should look into the harbor freight media blaster boxes. Them things are ridiculously inexpensive if you already have a compressor. As far as welders, a Flux core welder (got mine from Northern for like $150) will do most of the things needed for us random fabricator types. I even built a spare tire rack with my flux core welder for when I was running the surplus MTRs on my 87.
