That is a nice 53 dump. Before I "settled" for my 70 F350 flatbed dump, I was looking and hoping to find a good 53-56 flatbed dump. I also thought a 53 would be great since I never owned a flathead. I drove my brother's 53 F-600 dump with a flatty. Oh, well, I now have a "newer" flatbed dump with PS, AM radio, all the luxuries!

IMO, that is a deal for someone looking for a real truck.

As a guy with a flatbed dump F350 you should know! It is refreshing to see a good truck for sale that is not in the middle of nowhere (like the one in MT) that is not asking an arm and a leg. I hope someone on FTE can get it.

I am not crazy about the lighter blue color that it was painted but the original blue (was it called Banner Blue?) is a nice color.

I suppose "the middle of nowhere" is extremely relative. As I look on the map, Kansas is a lot closer to "the middle" than Montana.

It does look like a darn nice truck, though.

I pass thru that area a couple times a year. As a matter of fact, Kinsley KS is the geographical center of the USA, about 50 miles west of Newton.

That is an unbelievably clean truck.

What I meant was that this truck is closer to population centers and the other one (I think it was a panel truck) was miles and miles from population centers.

The truck looks like it's in great shape! If I was done with my current project and had the $$ I would consider it as that's the price I've seen 'project' trucks go for.

OK, I did a bad thing. I showed this to my wife and she said she liked it, then she told my oldest daughter about it. Now she (my daughter) wants to do a road trip to get it. So I sent off an email with a few questions etc. Stand by for further details
