Weather permitting...weekly or more. Always by hand. Always a two bucket method. Clay & Polish once a year.
I give you credit. I was the same way for years, so I know what that's like. Especially in the winter. The older I'm getting, the more my truck see's the automatic touch less wash in the winter. I still keep plenty of Collinite 845 on the truck though.

Completely a labor of love and not out of necessity. The Sterling Gray doesn't show grime like others and I love that. But she sure does look purdy all cleaned up.

As others stated I actually enjoy detailing my truck I dont see it as work.....and also as someone mentioned I always detail it prior to a road trip gotta look sharp cruising down the highway so yes I'm a once a weeker guy on the washing
I wash it if it is really dirty, or really smelly (I was working at a garbage dump for a few weeks) or if I am doing something that I need to look my best, like attending a wedding.
In general, the rain takes care of the surface grime.
