So I got an advertisement from Ebay, and in it I noticed a different type of DRL LED, LED's shoved in a smooth tube for that new smooth LED look Audi is using now. Their example was a 2015 F-150 with HID's. I thought the look was really cool. I'm not vouching for them or anything as I don't have an F-150 so I can't say how good the product is, but I thought it'd be neat if Ford did something like this from the factory with that 2012-14 design. Now obviously the 15's look different, but still the "could have been" is kind of cool.

 

I could do without the turn signal functionality, but otherwise cool. Thanks for sharing

 

A couple of retrofitters are doing these. One shop does crappy work with color changing halos and all. The other does awesome work but you don't get all the turn signal nuttiness...just the light tube.
