I see light at the end of the tunnel. Button up the Steering Column, install the Painless Wiring Kit, and make some noise.
And, because I work with Pitties at the Human Society - a funny pic.
Dawg-ie - That looks really clean - No muss, no fuss - I do have one question - In the 1st photo the is a large red thing sticking out of the back of the block - What is it
its a distributor and I think he put the motor in backwards. !!
Yeah, yeah, yeah..... I know. For the record, I've built and raced 8 Windsor equipped Mustangs. I think one of them is in my Gallery. I like both engines. I'm going to cut a big hole in the firewall so I can reach down and adjust timing while I'm racing.....
Looks good Ernie...the only thing I would change is the fan mounting. Take that seup over to Dave at Direct Sheetmetal, he can make you a custom fan shroud that would look so nice that maybe no one will notice the distributor location.
Nice pics and funny as hell dogs!
You nearly need to run a caption thread on those dogs alone.
What was the tongue out for? I reckon the dog on the right just ate the last biscuit...
It looks good, but I don't think I could get my fat belly over the fat fenders to even reach that distributer. A hole in the firewall might not be a bad idea.
Hey Eman,
Absolutely beautiful - cleanest engine bay I've ever seen! No heat? No A/C? It's good to be from California. Are you leaving the exterior as it looks in your avatar?

Thanks,
My avatar was my previous '49. I changed it. After a lifetime of shows and sweating paint chips, this truck stays in primer but will have cool shoes.
