Navigation card

I did not get the navigation on my 2015 Lariat 6.7. Is it as simple as buying the navigation card and plugging it in? Also, what sd card and are there size limits as to what sd card will work to house music files?

No, just plugging in a navigation card won't get the navigation to work. I do believe you can get the dealer to activate the navigation for a fee + the card?

You can buy a normal SD Card though and put music on it. I don't know about size limits though.

Here's what I use in my truck for music. It is USB, so it keeps your SD card slot free for whatever else (in my case it's used for Nav)
Amazon Amazon

It is 32g, so it stores a ton of music. The price is right to me.

Another and free option if you use a smart phone is to use the navigation or maps program that came with it. Most will even cut in and play through your stereo through bluetooth.

Interesting. I wonder how that works? If you miss a turn or deviate from your route how can it update without cell service, sat service, or built in maps?

OK, so it has built in maps you download but... if you go off course and don't have signal there is no way for it to correct your route because it can't know were you are without signal...
