56 F250 wheels - need help

Here is a note from NumberDummy on these wheels:
"1967/96 F350: 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle. With SRW, the wheels are the same as like year F250's, 1969/74 E300's & 1975/02 E250/350's."
I found a set on craigslist. I have no idea of the year. I had one of my originals that was welded on, so I needed one. I just replaced my lock ring rears with the "new" ones I bought. They were slightly wider than my originals, but not enough for anyone to notice on the truck.

How original are you wanting it to be? With the 8 x 6.5" pattern you have many options covering the F-2/F-250 model years 1948-1996 (and the 1997HD model). It also includes the SRW F-350s 1967-1997. Edit - and as Joe said the E series vans. Any of these will fit.
IMHO the worst of options is the 16.5" wheel that came into wide use in the 1970s. It is a shorter profile than your originals and uses a wider tire to achieve similar tire diameters.
The best of options is the original Ford #7RD 1015-B that is 16" x 6". It was made by Kelsey-Hayes and has their number 31282. Only Ford used this wheel. It's advantage is its "innie" hub cap nub mounting. K-H lists the number through 1957. After that the number changed to K-H #43552, but one reference says that Ford continued to list 7RD 1015-B through 1963.
The 1957-1963 Ford Chassis Catalog, however, shows a number change to B9TZ 1015-A, which also corresponds to the K-H 43552. These numbers cross refer to National Wheel and Rim (NWRA) #X-45046. This also cross refers to Dodge 1963-1968. Stu
