GB love the new addition to the fleet.
I'm thinkin that the modification to the passenger window is fer spittin chewbacky juices out without haftin to roll er down.
When you get her let me know ifn it has a flame job on that side cause then we would know fer sure...
Hope you get it home soon.

Gary, I hope everything is on track for weekend delivery. Cannot wait to see pictures of the panel in your driveway. Bet you can't wait to take them.
Do you or anyone else know if the six wheels on the 1-1/2 ton panel are the same size? I think it would be smart to try to find a spare for my 1940.

The one ton like mine has 17" disc type wheels that don't stack up for duals. Yours has 20" budd type wheels. Yours are way easier to find, both the tire and the wheel. The hole is on my wife's side window. Haven't noticed a skoal ring on her pocket so it will probably just be for ventilation. As far as a picture in my driveway I really don't want to take one until it is sitting on it's proper rear axle. Looks like a dog squatting down for some serious business as it is now. Worked some on the new hood and the jailbars yesterday. No movement from Parkers Prairie at this time. Waiting for a renegade trucker to get lost in the Frozen North and require a load to pay his way out.

Agree, mine is too narrow. In your search keep in mind that the 7" width cited in the Green Bible is based on an old criteria which measured across the outer rim lips. The standard in use since the 1940s measures width across the inner base of the rim. Using this current standard your wheel is 5.00" wide. Stu

I know this isn't a Ford and I hope I don't catch flak but it's still a cool "tonner" with a 9 foot bed, For sale about 25 miles from me.

HOLY CR*P! that is a steal. That would bring huge money as is in the New England states. They seem to love the big stuff out there. I lived in Massachusetts for 7 years and in the parades you'd see Mack pickups, old Sterlings and All kinds of HD trucks restored and pinstriped and their name out on the door in gold leaf. If I lived as close as you, I'd have it in my driveway tonight, without a doubt. (ok, maybe in a friend's driveway until the smoke from the panel truck died down). And just think, those winnebagos lead a really charmed low mileage life compared to a work truck......

Awesome Stu! The '47 2 ton took 6 weeks to get picked up last year. I thought I sweetened the deal last week when I sold some landcruiser wheels and added another 150.00 to my listing on Central Dispatch. No dice at this time. The '92 is all fueled up and 'programmed to receive' when I get the call. I am having it delivered to a state rest area near Marysville Wa. because it worked so well last year. I sometimes get torn about just driving out and getting it, then I look at my job list at work and see I can build a coffee table out of reclaimed (cheap) wood for 1200.00 for a Seattle interior designer and that always looks so much easier than driving round trip to Minnesota this time of year. Ya think?
