CHECK OUT THIS BEAUTY!!!

I just bought this off my uncle who bought it new in 1984.
1984 Ranger, 2.8L, auto, 4x4, 3.45:1 gears, limtied slip in the rear.

He had the plow installed when it was new, and has used it ever since. He recently bought a new SUV, and snowblower, so let me have his old truck for $300. I've replaced the drivers side caliper and rotor/pads. One rear spring shackle, and put four used snow tires on it. It will be strictly a plow truck for my 300ft driveway, and for my rental property.

All my friends are laughing at me....

The plow alone is worth that.

I dig it. Looks like it's in decent shape. I'm trying to buy my dad's truck that he has owned for 11years. He wants $500 for it. I'm trying to keep it in the family.

That truck would be nice to plow some of the narrow driveways in Meadow lakes, I like that truck.

You're right! Last year I plowed with my Suburban. Using the Ranger is so much easier to get into tight places.

I've heard that before...but chevy guys don't put say it as nicely as you did!

The fluid is still nice and red, and so far it's been working fine.

How many 84 S-10s are still on the road?..............most long ago completed the cycle of life into toyotas and hondas.
My 84 Ranger is still doing a 82 mile daily commute everyday.
