Where to get new wiring harnesses

I have a 1986 f150 4x4 5.0l 2bbl and I have looked for wiring harnesses and connectors for my truck and it's not getting anywhere. I have even gone to the junk yards in my area and they do not have any truck in the 1980's. Please assist.

We are all waiting for this. I haven't seen it happen yet. They may never make wiring harnesses for these trucks. You will have to repair what you have for now.

I have found some of the connectors at the ford dealer. You need a picture of yours to bring. Also, you may find some connectors from Auto Zone and other parts suppliers. Is your harness totally junk?

Give Ron Francis wiring a call:

Ron Francis Wiring

They know their stuff!! I've talked to them on a few occasions and can literally make you an entirely new wiring harness for anything you have. Factory plugs and everything. I already talked to them about making a wiring harness for a non-cruise truck, they said they could do it.

You don't want any of that universal stuff.

I would hate to think how much Ron Francis would want for a custom wiring harness with the proper plug-ins($1000 sound about right?). I wonder why they don't market one?
