Battery drain

I did the EGR, delete, and oil, cooler yesterday and truck was running pretty rough to start off with. Hard start lots of turning over to start..now as soon as I turn the key to on interior lights dim and battery runs down really fast..will not even turn over at all...got the charger on it but not to confident it's going to work.
Thanks
Joe

Get them tested and get new ones if you need, don't hold onto bad batteries it will hurt your other electronics in the long run. Like your FICM.

Get the biggest CCA batteries with good warranty you can find.

I just put new ones in less than 3 months ago....it charged and is running but it's pulsing and the hood light is pulsing what would cause this...I'm thinking a wife got picked when I was working under the hood and could be shorting? Ideas?
I will also grab a couple new red tops from work in the am and swap them out to see if it helps any.

Looks like two injectors, based on codes. Check the water in fuel sensor, it could be bad.

That is inside where the full pump is right?
I got two injectors coming and they are on my list of things left to do...#3 is new two is same as before..used to have codes fr 2 and eight but I tried that sea foam thing before I swapped the cooler out and 8 is gone..
Thinking I will go back over the connectors on the injectors when we pulled the manifold to make sure the are all tight and seated...1-7 drivers side 2-8 passenger right?
Then on a lighter note...replaced the 4wd module and the transfers case motor and slips in and out of 4wd with ease and new manual lockers so she is definately getting there

Thanks
Joe

Check your alternator too. Mine was only generating 11.5v at cruise and was causing havoc with other electronics. Went through 2 sets of batteries and a FICM before I wised up and put a cheap voltage gauge into the CLA and realized what was up.

I checked the alt and is putting out 15v so that is good...i checked the connections and the back plug was not all the way in. Doing good right now drive to work just the buck and jump as before when shifting in last gear. That is the injector issue i think..new ficm last may along with programming... all i can say is i love my truck...

Reverse what's in RED. 1,3,5,7 are on passenger side.

That's hard to know but fairly easy to find by climbing on top of the motor. IMHO it's easier to find in the dark with a flashlight so you can see the stream.

The WIF code could be from a corroded sensor. Fairly common issue.

The injector codes "MIGHT" be FICM. Check the middle plug for a good connection as 2,3,5,8 cylinders are "fired" from that plug.
