Total brain fart as to why unplugging the EBP means bad vgt, can't find anything on it. Expense isn't my issue anyways, every little thing bugs me, the less the better. How much will it hurt the truck to keep the EBP unplugged over the holidays before I can look into new sensors?

It won't hurt a thing.
The ebp is the main input to the pcm for what the turbo is doing. That's the short answer anyways.

So basically all it changed was no more surge, and no more idle turbo whistle.
As long as i'm not hurting the truck i'm not worried.
