In 1970 I had a 64 chevy panel truck , 71 brought a 66 Ford super van , 75 was the year I got a 71 Dodge tradesman van . I spent many wonderful weekends in those trucks . They where my ticket out of a small town . My buddy's and I would get together early in the week to plan our next adventure . It could be skiing in Canada , Bike week in Daytona , beach time in R.I. , concerts, races [ car ,truck, mc ,snowmobile ] and every thing in between . There was a time or two that I would entertain a young lady in my home on wheels . Being young and having a van was a great time in my life . I don't understand why the kids today aren't converting todays small vans . They are big enough to sleep in and get good gas mileage . So many people never get out and travel around this country, there is so much to see and do if you only try , and a van is a cheap, dry ,safe , and warm way to travel .

Had **** carpet in part of the house, but not in a vehicle. Remember my wife raking it with a lawn type rake to make it look better.
It is hard to think that this year a 1990 van would be an antique or classic car by the 25 year rule. Wonder how that will go over at some car shows.
A van as discussed here with **** and blacklight with some incense burning might be a hit.

I had a 1978 E150 LWB that I bought new. It was top of the line with cruise control, bucket seats, full carpet, dual fuel tanks, etc. But it had bare walls in the rear when I bought it. I actually added a big window in the side and a sunroof. I was a bit uncomfortable cutting big holes in a brand new truck but it turned out great. I also added a small sofa and carpeted panelling on the walls. We had 4 boys at that time so it was great for travelling.
