I have a 2009 SCAB XLT in Pueblo Gold. I really like the color as it is different and it doesnt show dirt too easy.
I am considering adding some fender flares and would want them some color besides black. I am thinking either the same color as the truck or a darker tan or brown color? Any ideas or suggestions what might look good?
I would live to have just the hood, cab and bed rails painted the ford chocolate brown color and have the truck as a 2 tone. I think that would look nice, but maybe someday?
A dark color would look nice. Be careful not to get too many colors on the truck. It usually a safe bet to pick one of the darker colors in you interior. That keeps it all tied together.
My interior is lighter with black accents. I am thinking maybe a cream color or a vanilla for the flares?
I might just end up with the same color as the truck so as to not ruin the lines and look. I might have to take a pic and do some photoshop work to see how it might look
What the sam..... Did this turn in to the create an ugly truck contest?? LOL!
Dark blue?!
That gold color is temperamental in the first place. Any color other than matching the truck will look like hell. You want lines to flow, not stand out like a sore thumb.
Every thing looks good on that truck except that awful front license plate. If that paint scheme is in your plans, then you answered your own question. The flares should be body color.
I would look like a lariat!, I actually like a more monotone paint scheme, have all the door handles and such painted body color when you do the flares, should look nice, pueblo looks nice with most darker colors though.
