61 with an Oak Tree grew into grill & bumper

Here is a rusty old 61 bus that had sat so long a big tree grew through the bumper and grill. It had to be chainsawed in order to move the bus.

Check it out.

I think I would leave it like that, has character. Nice patina too!

When I first saw the pictures of the bus with the tree grown through it I had to do a double take of it. It reminded me of your bus project Anthony. Man I've been looking for a set of those big fenders for awhile now anyone know where I can get a set?

a month ago, here in Al, a guy had a NOS set on craigs list
I might not be using mine if 1/2 ton fenders fit

^ Anthony if you stumble across those NOS ones or you decide to use 1/2 ton fenders I'll definitely be interested in them. Keep me in mind thanks.

wonder how those fenders on the front would look on my truck if I widen the bed about a foot and the rear fenders a couple of inches each ...... "Super Flareside " LMAO
