'77 F-250 rear bumper availability ?

i want a new bumper for my truck. i want a chrome unit with the treadplate(diamond plate) top and the 3 holes on the bottom where the ball goes in and the two safety chains on the left of ball. does anybody know where to get one thats not insanely priced ? would like to keep it under $300. LMC was a bust as was ebay

I'd be trolling the Sacto and Stockton Pick N Pulls. .. and don't limit your search to Dents cuz I've seen 90s Broncos, Econolines, C-1500s, etc. with decent bumpers. Broncos would be your best bet given the frame width.

I've got the LMC variety on my '78. The original treadplate was rusty so LMC at <$300 was a good option. I did have to cut a small "scallop" in the treadplate at the corners with a jig saw (with OE mounting hardware). A little aluminum paint to "dress" the cut edges and it is good.

I do take the tow rating on that bumper with a grain of salt... and use a frame mounted receiver hitch for towing.

D3TZ-17906-C is a Flareside painted rear bumper (scroll down to 17906 in left pic - body style 83 is a Flareside).

Right: D3TZ-17906-A is a chrome contoured rear bumper for 1973/79 F100/350 Stylesides (body style 99) and 1978/79 Bronco's with 37 1/2" rear frame rails.

Right: D3TZ-17906-K is a chrome step bumper for 1973/79 F100/350's with 37 1/2" rear frame rails.
