Gasoline tax (excludes federal tax of 18.4¢/gal) Diesel tax (excludes federal tax of 24.4¢/gal)
14.50 to be 37.50 (as of November 1, 2016)
17.50 to be 41.50 (as of November 1, 2016)

So that's a total of 41.9 cents bumped up to 65.9 cents per gallon is tax on diesel.
My wife and I have discussed that and we're both over that age to you. Yep, we're out as soon as we can, the taxes and costs are way to high be be retired here. Love our home state, but .....

NJ is one of those states that has a declining population based on traffic loads by moving companies.

I too am the same. I lived in Raleigh for a year setting up a new plant for Graftex/Exxon, couldn't stand the humidity.

We might do PA as we can get easy access to the places we like, Jersey beaches and NYC. And I'm planning on keeping the farm for the rest of my life. Wife would REALLY not!

Central Texas area is nice, not so much humidity but summer can be brutal if you aren't prepared for it.

We are returning to Central Oregon when done with the traveling. I really dislike humidity and love 4 seasons. We will remain there until the property taxes run us out.

Just paid $2.39 in Davenport Fl.

I wish we could of swinged the deal on Lake Wallenpalpac a few years ago. It was the sister to my house here. I didn't feel like eating Ramon noodles every night. It's a shame too, because now you can't touch places on the lake.

We were thinking WV too, but with the economy the way it is there somewhere down the road they are going to need revenue, as in tax revenue. So there's some worry of jumping fire to fire.

Pa is OK but property taxes are high, depending on the county. Don't rule out Del. not too bad again depending on the area.

I don't mind the humidity so much, hate the winters. I was thinking South Carolina myself.

From Fuel cost per gallon to the tax on that fuel and now onto property taxes.

Nothing like the fun turn of the thread on the 6.0L Forum at FTE.

We are thinking Southern Idaho.

I drove through Idaho and was stranded twice towing a boat from portland to New Mexico. Nice area but I don't like the look of winter, I was there in April and had a snow storm F that.

As far as California I went out there again in June and filled up in Quartzite for about $2 drove around the greater LA area and complained to my grandmother about the nearly $3/gal diesel. Picked up a Sea Ray 290 in West LA then filled up again in Kingman, AZ. and was promptly stranded there.

I'm picking up a 5th wheel in San Antonio tomorrow and driving it back to Houston so we'll see what fuel costs, although I already filled up last week so I'll be good for awhile.

Oh I see the 70 gallon tank in the bed now, I didn't see that before. It pays for itself not filling up in California.

Absolute best thing ever, even with my short bed. Bought it used and had some growing pains that i've worked out but going 1,000+ miles between fill ups is priceless and saves ($70-100 every trip I make to Cali alone). Before, towing my toyhauler I might get 270miles comfortably. Now when towing cross-country I just fill up wherever is cheapest along the drive that day. I've driven unloaded from Kingman Arizona back to Houston twice now without stopping.

Being Aluminium I don't see why that tank wont follow me to every truck I ever own and the guy I bought it from had it on 3 of his trucks.
