Switch to manual hubs do i have to cap the air lines off

Switch to manual hubs do i have to cap the air lines off

I just put in my new mile marker hubs and do i need to cap off the vac lines or can they stay for a while till i get caps

Only if you want the A/C - Defrost to work properly.

I actually left mine all intact and simply unplugged them from the vac selonoid and just plugged it...

So will it only have a problem when i am in 4x4 because if so i wont mind having that problem for a little while as long as its fine when i am not in 4x4.

Can't you just leave them plugged in to the knuckles? That way there's no leaks on either end.

I just plugged the fitting in the picture and have never done anything else. Someday when I have nothing better to do I might track down all the gremlins, but the vacuum cap fixed it quick.

So what happens if you just leave them plugged in? I swapped a manual hub Dana 60 into my truck and they already had nipples on top so I just plugged the vacuum lines back in and they've been fine so far.

I havent seen any problems so far. Everything been working fine. Havent tried the 4x4 yet but i will this week

Put a golf Tee in them and forget about them until the rubber disintegrates.

Just unplug the electrical connector at the solenoid leave the lines hooked up everywhere. This will allow all the entire system to remain intact

where is this solenoid.

Why unplug the solenoid if it doesn't hurt anything just to leave it alone?
