Turbo 101 & 102 and Balancing Facts
I have been doing some research on turbos and I am not one to believe everything I read on the interweb so I try to do as much fact checking as I can. I ran across this in search of some info and found it useful. Now the 2 links below that are from Garrett and it takes it from the fundamentals to advance in 102

Now this I thought was a good read on turbo balancing it kind sums up some of the basic points and touches on few others that I am not sure I agree with a 100%. Balancing is something that I read everything I can get my hands on, mostly I research balancers themselves.

So hopefully someone other than myself will find this info helpful.

Thanks BadDogKuzz,
Very interesting reading.
Especially the points about high speed balancing and the bit about balancing the assembly.
"In conclusion, the key to maximum life out of a turbocharger is proper selection of components, precision balancing of those components, and careful assembly of the turbo. An additional balancing operation performed on the completed turbo is not absolutely necessary in most cases, but it does provide a higher degree of confidence in the final product. "
