Need Help 92 f150

I pulled the codes and come up with bad knock sensor and bad coil on the primary side. I changed the coil with a new one and test drove the truck. The truck now randomly idles high no matter what speed. It idles high enough to be concerned with 1500 rpm do I need to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery

Please tell us all you can about your problems. Does it ever idle where it should? When you ran the KOER test, did you kick the engine hard enough to cause pinging?

Write back and tell us more.

Regards, Robert.
