OT/not a truck, but need help... May need numberdummy help
I need a shift cable for a 77 ranchero. I've posted in the correct forum a while ago, and did again tonight.
Parts stores don't list a shift cable for a ranchero, but the thing is either based off a tbird or ltd or something. One of those cars must be cable shift, but I don't know anyone with an interchange book or someone who can even look up a ranchero shift cable part number.
Thanks for the help guys.

Awesome info from our friend NumberDummy
D7OZ-7E395-A .. Shift Cable / Obsolete
1973/76 Torino/Ranchero C4 & FMX / 1977/79 LTD II/Ranchero C4 & FMX
1975/76 Torino/Ranchero C6 / 1977/79 LTD II/Ranchero C6 / 1977/79 Thunderbird/Cougar C4; FMX & C6.
LTD II is not an LTD, it's the idiotic name that Ford replaced Torino with in 1977.
