Aftermarket Aluminum Wheels - Which Ones For Stock Wheel Replacement?
Hi,
My rig: 1994 Ford F250 SC 4x4, Stock - no lift
My local tire store informed me that I had 3 bent or out of round rims and they could not get my new Michelin tires balanced properly. The rims are the stock steel 16 x 7 8 lug rims.
I'm skeptical, since the truck is not the daily driver, and I've never hit anything, but it's time to put some aftermarket rims on anyway.
I'm keeping the original stock tire size which calls for 16x7 rims.
Does anyone here have any suggestions of a rim that they have found for this application? I'm trying to stay with the original offset and backspacing.
The closest thing that I have found are the American Racing AR23.
Thanks in advance for any help.

However, another tire store would have to dismount the tires, etc. resulting in about $20 each after tax, etc.
I'm probably going to see if I can find some new OEM steel wheels and put them on.
Thanks for your reply.
