how rare is this

As I said in another post I just became the owner of an 89 f150 and it has a couple issues that I'm sure this site will help me figure out. But on another I was wonderin how rare this combination was. Like I said 89 lariat 4x4 standard cab short bed 4 speed 5.0L pwr windows and door locks cruise and what I think is the most unusual/awesome is it hasan h92 axle code so ls front and rear I'm loving it so far.

Not rare at all since 87-91 lariats came with power windows and locks(part of lariat pkg). Also pretty sure cruise and tilt were also part of that
Also i would bet that the 5.0 was the most popular engine in an F150
By 4 speed, do you mean auto? If not, I don't know of any 4 speed sticks.

not sure what h92 is

Yeah I knew that all the pwr stuff was common but a 4 speed manual with a 302 and standard cab short bed I know having 2 or three of these things is common but I don't see any with all four around here and dont think I've ever seen one with the ls front and rear just curios I'm thinking this thing was special ordered not sure just seeing if yal see them anywhere else. Also frustratingly doesn't have tilt wheel which sucks bc I'm 6'2"

The Lariat with the 503A preferred equipment pkg. (reg. cab) had manual windows and locks but did have cc/tilt. The PEP 507A included pwr windows and locks.

The super cab packages were 523A and 527A.. same differences.

The 4 speed isn't rare. It was standard on the f150 4x4.

the 89 did not come from the factory with a 4 speed. the last year for the 4 speed was 1987.
89 302 had a mazda 5 speed manual, or either a C6 automatic, E4od, or AOD overdrive automatic.

Check again because they offered 2 manual trans that year both the 4 and 5 speed. The 4 speed was a Waner T-18.
If you go to this page it shows it too.

Up until '92 our bread and butter farm truck sales were F150's with the four speed manual. When that trans was dopped we had a heck of a time convincing our farmer customers to buy a 5 speed… old habits die hard.

Nice. My truck is also pretty rare. In fact, I've never seen another one just like it. I bought it brand new in 1992. Pre-internet days. I had to search every lot in SoCal to find exactly what I wanted. Two months later:

1992 F150 XLT Lariat SWB 4X4 5.8L, Preferred Equipment Package 507A. Quad shocks up front, limited slip diffs in front and back. Basically every option available. I had to add the auxiliary fuel tank due to Ford dropping it from the SWB in '91 (i think). I can't even count the number of times I've been asked to sell this truck. 23 years later, it's still a keeper.

The 4 speed manual transmissions were not offered as standard equipment after 1987, but from what I understand you could still have them installed as an option. My truck has an NP435 from a 1990 F350.
