King pins and u-joints

Well my poor truck needs some loving. I need to replace all the u-joints from front to back and carrier bearing. The front end needs new steering stabilizers and traction bar bushings. Basically front end completely redone.

I called around to several shops and found one that will do the job for roughly $1400.00 They use Splicer and Dana parts which I believe are factory parts??

I also have a friend that said he would charge me $500.00 but I have to buy all the parts. Which I would use Moog and National as my parts. The part would cost roughly 1400.00 SO the total would be $1900.00

Is Moog that great of a product or is Splicer and Dana that not good of a product?

Had one guy quote me 22-2300 for a complete front-end rebuild, and someone else quote 18-2000. Not sure what brands of parts he'd be using tho...I'd say go with your gut feeling and you'll probably be OK.

I would say spicer and moog are equally good. sounds like the shop is giving a pretty good deal
