Exercise some creative liberty and go white, green, and black.

That's a thought ....or, paint all three sections in low-gloss black .....hmmm.

Green...Red....then Black. Red in the middle like your grille.
Green both front...Red both middle...Black both rears.

We all love "The green", and on your truck, it looks particularly nice.. Mine is far from the perfect truck too, but I still love it..

Baja
Thanks.

When I first started looking to buy a truck like this, I was HOPING to find either a body in white or one in blue. I was also hoping to find one with a 302 in it but, neither of those things happened.

After the first few months of searching, it became abundantly clear that body color and engine displacement would have to come secondary to finding a truck with a solid body. The other two could be worked out later.

I ended up with a truck that was Norway Green and with an inline 240 six cylinder. --not exactly what I was originally hoping for but, the body is very solid and over the past four years, the green has kinda grown on me.

I went to visit my parents today and when I got home this evening, there was a package sitting by the door. A forum member here (and you know who you are), had sent me a brand new pair of side mirrors to replace the big, dorky side mirrors that were on my truck.

I still have to swap out the passenger side mirror but, the drivers side looks a thousand times better now! Thank you very much for your generous donation! It's very much appreciated.
--no more blind spot and it doesn't look so much like a 'papaw truck' any more. It looks much sportier now.

Before.

After.

....now, I just have (6) holes in each door I'll have to fill.

I just went through your thread starting at the last page and working my way back to the beginning. I was able to see all of your hard work being undone

Truck looks good and as many others have said nice work. I wanted to say thank you for offering tips and information on making brake lines

I like the new mirrors too.

I envy your 'Ranger' emblem on your grill. I have a similar grill, but no emblem. Mine is a Ranger, but only on the glove box, does that moniker appear. ? I guess in '67 they had not thought to put it on the grill. It's on the list, but far down..

I have an extra outer Ranger grille bezel (used) you can have Baja. DC used to carry a repro red Ranger insert for it. I assume they still do. Part number C8TZ8213A.

Referring to post #38, I like to think that I can TRY just about anything, but my Mom told me, "Russell, try anything, except your own brain surgery". Now, that works for me. Baja
