Thanks Ross. I should have spotted that. In fact on closer inspection I see that it has been repaired before but the repair is poor and the socket is not round which is why the bushing broke into pieces. Hopefully I can find a good used one somewhere.

Hey Pete try this guy his name is Bob he's a jersey guy ( 1/2 ton fun) 732-928-9421 he's got a lot of stuff like that, great guy! Very knowledgeable

Bob Selzam, Tom's River NJ. I have bought parts from him for something like 30 years. He's the guy that sends the parts with an invoice in the box, and then you send him a check for that amount. It's a pretty simple formula. He has LOTs of nos and hard to find parts. Only Ford, and only truck. Old School through and through......
