Anyone looking for an F3?

This one came up on my local free classifieds site. It's listed as a '53, but I believe it's a '52. Even has some cool door art. The location is south-central ND.

I have no connection to the seller.

That's in 1952henry's area. But I bet he'd suggest there's not enough left of that one to justify what the guy is asking. Stu

It's got the mono-wiper. I haven't seen too many examples of that.
And I agree, the door art and general patina is pretty cool. That truck would be nice to leave the chassis as-is and re-do the brakes, steering, wiring, drive-train, lights, etc. Make it completely safe and easy to drive but leave the outside appearance just like it is.
That chicken looking at it on the right side of the picture is saying......'Man, this is why I live on a farm.'

I agree with this. This is pretty much par for the course around here. I think the paint on this one makes it look more dinged up than it is, but pictures always lie, especially on these old vehicles. This truck is only a couple hours from me. He's asking a bit much, but if one were interested, it would probably be pretty easy to talk them down. The biggest problem I have with it is that there's no wheels, but it is nice that they put it on blocks to try and keep it out of the dirt.

not quite. These are way worse. You drive around with these, no matter what tires, they won't stop, turn, they ride really uncomfortable, and are so darn loud going across the pavement. At least with widowmakers you can start, stop, and turn decent while driving.

The price has dropped. He had an earlier ad that stated it had tire and wheels and a higher, firm price.
