What year model trucks can be swapped so that you have the look of a 1977 Ford truck,but the body is of a 1980 or newer truck ? I'm guessing a 1979 is the newest model that will swap ? Thanks !

 

The 1980 and newer trucks are completely different then the earlier trucks. None of the earlier grilles will fit a 1980+ truck. Only 1980-86 parts will fit 1980-86 trucks.

If you want the 77 looks you'll need to buy a 73-79 Ford truck and swap on a 77 grille.
