78 F150 4x4

I bought a 78 F150 from a buddy of mine. I have been looking for one of these for about 6 years after I messed up and sold a good one for little to nothing. Previous owner put a 3 in lift on the truck using blocks and spring change. Cab had a big dent in the passenger side, floor pans rusted out. He gave me a another cab to fix mine, but everyone I talked to said it would be easier to just change cabs than to fix this one. Got the drivers floor pan installed and waiting on the passenger side to come in to finish it up.

Just taking it slow and easy to make sure this one is done right, so I can keep it around a while. I have a 460 coming for it soon, so I can give the old 351m a rest.
Am going back to Dark Jade Green Metallic, a buddy of mine here in Jonesboro has a ford truck salvage yard, and has a green pad and door panels. It is slow go, but will be worth it in the end.

Looks like you are off to a good start. I like green trucks, so the Jade will be a nice choice.

Got a question for you folks. What type of cleaning agent can I use to clean the door panels and dash pad that is not too harsh? I got the new panels, need some minor repair work, but everything is just nasty. Also the rubber part of the armrests are almost black. Would love to find something that will bring back the original color.

Helloooooooo gorgeous!!! amazing looking old truck right there!!! I envy you sir

I have a '78 F250 that is 2wd. I have been intending to work on it and make it nicer but I need it for work too much. Be otch is getting painted, just to make myself feel better about not doing as much as I have wanted. That and now I have to depend on it a little more than before I moved out hahaha

Has anyone or there been able to find the replacement green interior panels, dash pad, and seat belt reel covers?

They don't reproduce them in green anymore. You either have to buy them in one color and paint them, or find a truck somewhere that has a good set in green. Their getting pretty hard to find in green.
