My daughter has a horse boarding/training business. One of the customers needed two horses moved, so I did that today. I am very pleased with the V10/6 speed combo.

When I plug in to the outlet in the bed, everything works except for the running lights. When I plug in to the main plug (under the bumper), I have brake lights and turn signals, but no brakes or running lights.
Ideas, right off of the top of your heads? The trailers are fine- my dad has the same truck as I do, and both trailers are 100%. So, I know it's my truck. I haven't pulled the spare tire yet, so I can't see everything; but, doing a cursory search, I haven't seen anything loose, chafed, or broken.

 

Check the fuses for the towing, most likely it is the wiring for those plugs.


May need and I recommend pulling the backs off the plugs and inspecting and cleaning the contacts and wiring.

 

Whenever trailer lights do strange things........make sure you have a GOOD ground! That is what I find about 99% of the time.
