Looking for a hood!?

I've been looking for a replacement hood for my 66 F250 and not having any luck at all. Is it just 65-66 for that body style or will something older fit? I'm assuming F100 and 350 will also work but even looking for F100 hoods at salvage yards and online I am not having any success. I've got a big dent in the front of mine that is not likely possible to hammer out. Where have you guys had luck finding body parts?

Thanks!

Info previously posted by ND. Only thing I might add is if the hood was drilled for trim or nameplates on the sides and you don't want the holes you might have to weld those shut. But basic hood is the same.

C1TZ-16612-Z .. Hood Panel / Obsolete

Applications: 1961/66 F100/700 / 1961/64 B500/750 / 1965/66 B500/700 (B = School Bus).

I have one, happy to help you out, but where are you located? May be impractical to ship.

haha if I could.... It's a serious dent. Like half a tree trunk. I've done body work but this is beyond popping dents. I'm in CO but it looks like there might be one in Fort Collins at a scrap yard.

Apparently we have 'em in Cape Cod and Bakersfield...couldn't be two more extremes! Hopefully your source in Fort Collins will come through....pick me up a New Belgium Ranger (not the truck) while you're there.

I've got one in PA I'd love to get rid of. Won't ship it though.

Actually, I have two...the other one is probably best suited for experiments, like making a cowl hood or something. Has some nasty big dents across the top.

I just picked up this hood today for $80. Was listed on Craigslist.

Plus L/R fenders for another $20.

I contacted you on the slick forum about the not so great hood. I'm out of state right now but I'd like to get it once I'm back in the area. I'm located in Lancaster so we ain't far away from each other.

Hey, I'm in Downingtown, so not so far away. Nice to see a local slick owner. not many of us around these parts.
