my Sync has done some weird stuff, and the voice control has had a brain fart periodically, particularly if I edit a playlist on a USB drive, then try to play it again.

Only fix is to "reboot" sync by taking out the fuse for a few minutes. Crude but it works.

Suggest you try that.

 

I have not had much luck with my sync setup in the 14 F150 I just bought and my Galaxy S4 phone. In the toyota I had before, everything worked flawlessly.

This is really the only gripe I have about the truck. Sync will just disconnect from my phone, won't sync up automatically if started with remote start, and that dinky *** screen. I've had good luck with alpine products in the past with bluetooth features so just will wait for the dash trim to become available and swap out the whole damn thing.
