It's getting quite breezy here tonight. I wonder if it's gonna bring us that fluffy white stuff. Not really cold enough for it yet but if it's a north wind we know what that's gonna do to the temperature. But I don't even know what direction the wind is blowing!
We had rain and clouds for the day. Higher humidity made it seem colder than it really was. Just looked at the thermometer a bit ago and we are sitting just above 5*.
We're at +3°. It'll likely be rain rolling in. Which I am not eager to see. Our road, which is not a paved road, has a large volume of industrial traffic (logging trucks, calcium trucks, and such) and it doesn't take much rain and it turns into a terrible mess!
We had a good day in calgary, got cool for afew minutes. Apparently there was an eclipse at about 4.15, threw on my welding mask to look at it, didnt see nothing but a shiny ball of fire. Got a project done, got tired of playing musical dead batteries so I bought a new one. Got new project in the shop, picking up argon, wire and my weekend is set. Katy p is losing her box and getting a flat deck. Not to be a dick to you working guys but my retirement program is working on my dentsides 6 to 8 hours a day. Yeah it's a tough life.lol. Could use the cash flow that working brings in though.
As long as we don't get the winter the way we got it last year I dont mind. I bought my electric snow shovel 2 days before it hit, dont know why I had the urge to buy it but am glad I did. Frankie is starting to play with her toys and Sally is starting to stalk Frankie more often so I guess they're running out of things to hunt outside, might be a sign, hope it isn't. Still need 2 weeks of decent weather to get everything done before winter sets in.
