With a mild to warm 460 the D60 should do fine as a PU rear. If that 460 is pushing 800 HP and you drag race with slicks better axles would be needed but otherwise OK.

The D60 is pretty good, Chrysler used them with semi-floating axles behind the hemi powered Road Runner and Hemi-cuda. They were also set up with full independent rear suspension and used in the Jaguar XKE.

How much HP? they're good for up to 400-450, after that ditch the D60 and get a GM 14 bolt
