Please help me stop pouring diesel all over my pants

I'm poor after buying my F250 PSD; I'd love to have an auxiliary tank but don't want to spend $700 and lose 2' of my precious 6.5' bed space. So I have 2 5-gal diesel cans that allow me to spill 4 gal of diesel all over the side of the truck and my pants after I fuel from the can. I checked out 3 local stores and Amazon but only saw crap funnels. Can anyone recommend a good funnel with a flow rate greater than 0.3 gal/hr? I have those stupid CARB-compliant diesel cans (plastic, really) and the nozzles on those suck, too.

Sorry for the rant but I also had to deal with the post office today which reminded me, again, why I use FedEx and UPS. Don't even get me started with that organization...

Why not go with a transfer flow or Titan? Replace the stock tank.

I use these cans. Your patience will quickly return. The price tag is well worth my sanity. Allow gravity to do the work.

I have one of those new "earth friendly" cans that leak all over the place that I demoted to storing old fuel for the burn pile after washing my tractor in diesel fuel.

If I had to use Gerry cans or the like to get through my days regularly I believe I would just use a hose, siphon, or cheap pump of some kind. Just leave the fuel in the bed and whip out a hose.

Being in a harsh environment I'd also prob work out a gravity feed from a fuel can. Just get out, turn a valve, get back in.

Finally a way around venting through the spout.

I started doing one of the "prepper" mods to some of my cans.

Tire valve stems with the core removed and metal caps.

Most plastic cans have a thicker wall in the same location where the vents use to be.

same concept.. a little air in the back makes the front flow..

Not when there's a hurricane bearing down on you. All the stations within 500 miles run out very quickly so I keep 10 gallons at the ready over the summer months.

This is what I use for fuel and diesel, with the additional hose it allows you to get it in the tank before you start pouring and they pour out quick as well.

This is what I have as well. I like them.

I like the valve stem idea, I have some small cans for 2 stroke mix that will be getting that mod.......

Do one can first. Some of the cheaper stems fall apart due to the gasoline.
There are several prepper videos doing this, don't recall though if they list brands.
I used a spade bit for a clean hole. And a coat hanger to feed the stem through.

I have a uni-bit (stepped drill bit) that'll make a nice clean hole as well. Have two valve stem brands here, will experiment first. And I like the coat hanger idea as well.
