373 or 430 gear for performance mostly in town what mpg do you get . and what is it on hwy?373

 

With 4.30's in an Excursion we get 10-12 mpg in town and 14-16 mpg on the highway. It depends on the wind and how easy you are on the throttle. Get your foot in it too much and those numbers go down alot. Towing our 28' TT from Missouri to South Carolina this year (in overdrive) we got 10.2 mpg going and 9.7 mpg coming back. Wind made the biggest difference here also.
