302 to 351 and 351 to 302

I have an 88 F150 with 351/C6 and an 89 Bronco with 302/AOD. I want to keep the Bronco and sell the truck, but I like the 351.
How difficult would it be to swap the 351 to the Bronco and the 302 to the truck?
Can I keep the C6 in the truck and the AOD in the Bronco?
Do I have to swap computers with the engines? How hard is that?
Would it be easier to get the same torque from the 302 with a rebuild??

If this is too difficult/complex/expensive I will just forget it and rebuild the 302. (It runs, but not quite like it did in 89.)

i did a 5.8 swap into my 88 bronco so your in the same boat i was. it is a strait over swap but you will need a different flexplate for your 5.8 to bolt to the AOD. you can find it at any parts store, it will be from an 80's crownvictoria 351w/AOD . this is very important but should cost around $50 . the flexplate on the 302 probably wont match up to the C6 but that shouldnt be a problem finding the correct one for it because it uses the same as an E4od would. go ahead and use the f150 harness on the bronco and vise versa. also swap ecu's . i love my 5.8 and AOD combo. i get better mpg then i did with the 302 and its great offroad. shoot me an email if you want more info.

good luck
