315's and 3.55 gears?

Supposedly they go good on the road..
FYI I had a set of SSRs on my 97 cclb, they were pretty quiet, think I got around 30k out of them. I sold them with enough lug to get a sticker..

FWIW, I have 3.55 and currently have 265s on stock 16" rims and the odometer reads about 5% slow according to my phone GPS. For two weeks I was running 35s on 16.5" wheels. I noticed no difference between the two but did not GPS the 35s. The 35s measured an actual 33".
I'm not towing and have little plans to do so for now. I did put in a BTS valve body.
I think a lot of it depends on how you intend to use and drive the truck.

I recently ran 37s for a few weeks. They speedometer read about 15% slow according to the phone gps. With the 3.55 gears it really wan't too bad but having an auto trans is what really makes it usable. I habitually turned off the OD unless I was on the highway. I suspect the truck would have acted better if I reprogramed the PSOM (speedometer) but I'll do that when I've committed to a tire size.
Unless you are driving at speeds the torque converter is locked (45 mph and up?) you put more heat into the transmission. I used my aeroforce gauge and noticed it ran about 10 degrees hotter. A trans cooler would be an absolute must if you were towing or heavily loaded. I have a trans cooler I will be mounting in the future.
