whos offroading in michigan?
first time posting in the michigan chapter. I live in howard city. About halfway between grand rapids and big rapids or just 15 mins north of cedar springs. Any one do any offroading around this area? or how about we post our favorite spots in all of michigan. Im looking for maybe places that offer good views or great little hidden spots or just simply some great trails. Post all that you know of! and maybe if your in the area we could meet up and do some wheelin.

Also if you live near newaygo there is a pretty cool spot we call the prairie. Nothing real techical though and its slowly being bought out by land owners. After a good rain the seasonal roads though there get pretty muddy and there are some small trails with little hill sections. Oh and im also looking for maybe truck meet ups around grand rapids or north of grand rapids.

I lived in Big Rapids for 8 years we all used to go out by hungerford lake. There are trails there for trucks. As well as some good state land that has some pretty deep holes that fill up. I buried my big truck up to mid doors one day and had to have a a few trucks chain up to drag me out. I would be up for some good times as soon as we can get the truck put back together.

I was actually thinking about going to rocks and valleys this weekend. I just dont wanna make the drive for the trails to be to tough. Im all up for beating on my truck but i wanna make it home to and id like to keep the body in decent shape. I also dont want to just get stuck every where. I dont have lockers yet and im only on 35'' mud grapplers.
