Can anyone tell me if the ignition switch in a 1988 F700 dump truck with 429 engine is part of the lock cylinder or if it is mounted on the steering column. I do not see a rod that activates the switch like other vehicles I've had.

11582 is the ignition cylinder & key, 11A599 is the actuating rod, 11572 is the ignition switch
