Mustang pi intake manifold on 99 expedition

it is my understanding that the 99 expedition with a 4.6 liter has a pi motor already so is there any benefit to swapping a Mustang intake manifold and getting rid of the truck manifold? this will be a daily driver and will not be towing anything so that will not be an issue. I already have a Mustang intake so sourcing one is not an issue.

the truck will be getting a super 44 muffler and a K&N air filter but will underdrive pulleys help any to get better gas mileage

Not sure that the mustang manifold will work to be honest, you might need to rig up some of your own heater hoses to make it work possibly.

I looked into the swap more today while the wife was replacing the alternator for me. (I had minor hand surgery on Thursday so my arm is in a cast). I'm thinking most things could work but most of the hoses would need to be custom done

Today was the first time driving it and I actually wasn't totally disappointed with the power. I thought it would be much worse.

If it were me I'd wait until my cast was off.

I did not do the swap yet. the truck is a daily driver at the moment so I can't afford to take her off the road for any lengthy period of time to work out the issues I will have with the swap. When we get another car I would love to try it just because.

If anyone finds any info that would help please pass it along but I will update the thread if it happens
