Everything was done and then her went back on it and said the best he could do was $15 off. Seriously I **** you not, $15.

15$ IS Better then nothing.

No, the deal was he would get me the same type discount on the bumper as he was on the running boards. To bring him 10+ $400 orders and then him say "Thank you" with a $15 discount is shameful and not right. I'm not rich... Hell, we all know what my financial situation is but I have to say this.

"Mother ****ing carid, I **** $15 and wipe my *** with $100s all day long!"

No, when we had discussed it there was about a 15% discount on the boards and there was to be an exact same discount on the bumper. I don't math but 15% of $1100 isn't $15

Well here's my follow up on their warranty for the HD steps. Emailed Iron Cross on 11/20 about the powder coating, got a response the same day saying they would be replaced. After sending them the requested info I didn't hear anything back. Emailed again on 12/10 asking what the status on the replacements was and was told there was a turn around time of 3 weeks and I would hear back shortly. Still haven't heard anything and my email I sent on 12/31 hasn't gotten a response.

Guess a phone call is in order.

Agreed, would like to know what the outcome is. I pound dirt and gravel roads routinely, I don't like the idea of having to remove and wait for new steps if the powdercoat isn't up to par.

One of the reasons I've been procrastinating installation is contemplating having them Line-X'd to match the tan trim. This may be the deciding factor.

I still really need a set (of steps in general) and have had a set in my cart for weeks and this really makes me think twice about them

I haven't seen anybody else having issues with them yet that use their rig the same basic way you do bud.

When I say I pound backroads, what I really mean is high speed blasts that leave a half-mile dust cloud and the undercarriage sounds like marbles in a washing machine. That coupled with the lift and tires means I hurl pebbles, gravel and other debris all over the place.

I didn't mean the way they hold up, I was thinking more the customer service. I'm sure they would hold up for my size 13s getting in and out 3-4 times a day

Its dirt roads that wrecked the powder coating on mine, they were fine up until the Rocks to Riches trip. When my replacements come (if IC gets their act together) if I still have issues with them chipping I'll probably look into getting them Line-X'd or Rhino'd.
