Iron Cross Running Boards group buy thread

NEW DEADLINE IS THE 31ST OF AUGUST!!!!!

General Description

Running boards, Iron Cross makes them and we want them. I called Iron Cross directly and they will not sell to us directly. I called 2 online retailers and both told me that Iron Cross won't allow them to be sold under MSRP or MAP and they could lose their license to sell them if they got caught. I called 2 different eBay sellers that were licensed to sell them and got the same response. I called Iron Cross again and they told me to call CARiD(.com) and talk to them.

So I got hold of CARiD and talked the, for about half an hour and set up a very broad deal. When I priced a set for myself I was quoted $470 shipped with brackets. Not a bad deal, but we are stronger as a whole so why not use it to our advantage right?

Links to stuff

Welcome to Iron Cross Automotive. We produce American Made Step Products and Bumpers. American Made = American Jobs!

Iron Cross® 414-9986 - Ford Excursion 2000-2005 Textured Black HD Steps

Pricing:

1-4: $385
5-9: $375
10 and up is $365
He told me if we hit 15 (I doubt we will) then he would get us some more prices. Those again DO include the brackets and all that will be needed is shipping on top of that.

Shipping

All shipping is actual shipping cost and through UPS. They ship through them and it will fluctuate depending on where you live. They have several warehouses around the US so it should be pretty close to the same for everyone though.

I'm in if we do a group buy.
Like the look of these.
I think someone on here did them on a dark blue or black Ex, cant remember who though.

I'm down with that, my zip is 49333. The stock running boards IMO have always looked like crapola to me. Mine are just about shot so these are the only ones that I've liked. I'd like to have mine painted the OEM gold color.

Ay-poc, I cut all the relevant posts from the other thread to make a dedicated group buy thread for you. You just need to go to the first post (your post) and edit it so it makes sense.

Who the hell is this "Stuart" some of you guys keep referring to every-so-often? I know it can't be me, I mean, if my user name doesn't help clue you guys in, the fact that I sign all of my posts should be more than enough. :-X16

Well that's just the thing, we need to know how many people are ready to buy them. It's an odd situation, we tell them 10 they say alright then this much so we say alright but if we only have 9 then no deal. We have to get him a number first and then we'll get a group buy amount. I'm going to ask Stuart if we can make a thread for this or if this needs to be moved... I'm hoping that we can get them for under $400 shipped including the brackets. Shipping is going to be different for everyone though.

I'd ask what the break points are, 1-5 sets, x discount, 6-10 etc, or whatever combo they want. Thanks for checking for us!
