can't pin down this vibration

Been dealing with an annoying vibration for a while now on my 05 250. It is most prominent during idle and over 2000 rpm. I can feel it through the brake and gas pedal. I just had all new injectors installed and was hoping that the problem was stemming from some of the injector issues I was having. There does not seem to be any loss of power or performance.... I hate to jump to worst case scenario, but would a bad lifter cause this? Any other symptoms to go along with a bad lifter.

I would check to see if you have any down pipes or exhaust touching something..

There is a balancer on the front of the engine but I am sure you checked that out already.

You could also try removing the belt and running the engine if it seems like it's something on the front that is driven by the belt.

There is a harmonic balancer bolted on the crankshaft on the front of the engine. This is typical of any engine.

I believe it is rubber dampened and is pretty simple. I would think it would be obvious if it was defective. It may be easier to inspect from under the engine. It looks like a pulley but doubles as a balancer.

I'm thinking more towards ICP sensor. But I would have it scanned for codes. Just cos u don't have a CEL doesn't mean u don't have codes. U could have some codes.

I think it might. Unless it actually is an injector. Or HPOP. Or dummy plugs or standpipes. Or even the ipr valve.

For me, I already have the updated dummy plugs and standpipes. New stc fitting and ipr valve. New HPOP. Been changed. Bout a while back in the winter time, when it was dead cold, I changed out fuel filters, primed and started as per normal. After it started, there was a weird vibration from passenger side and it was clacking like crazy. I rushed to shut it down, waited a while and started back up and it ran fine. Been a couple of months and ain't done it since. Weird.

But I'm also thinking tat it may be ICP sensor. Tats one of the few things tat I haven't changed yet. I was thinking of doing it sometime soon. Lol.

Try pulling ur ICP sensor out to check if it's wet. If so, time to change a new one. If the ICP sensor is acting up, it could be causing an extra vibration. Oh and if ur gonna change it anyway, be sure to change the pigtail connector too. Peace of mind.

Funny that your problem started when it was cold, cuz thats when mine started. Over the winter during that first cold snap -20, my fuel gelled up and I had to limp home and change filters. Even with the anti-gel, my fuel froze three more times. The third time is what did me in. Ever since then I've had this vibration. Since this fuel mess I've changed the fuel pump and replaced all 8 injectors. Since this all occurred at the same time I was really hoping the injectors were causing this vibration......... I previously replaced the stc fitting, undated standalone and dummy plugs, and oil cooler....... Ill have to check icp sensor.
