Good job on the suggestion Tim. REP'd ya for it.

Thanks for Reping Tim, I tried to but it said I had to spread the reputation.
I couldn't help myself, I have to have everything matching, so to go with the Stainless Tri Y's I have ordered a complete Stainless Magnaflow exhaust system. It's just a little slower getting here, but should have it this week. Hopefully it will look and sound good.

Oh, I think they will. Outside of Cheery Bomb glasspacks (NOT "Show material), I like the sound of Magna Flows. Interesting that they incorporated an "X" pipe in to the head pipe assembly.

I got the new motor back in the truck yesterday, I still need to get the radiator and the new transmission cooler in before I crank it up, but getting close. I did have one surprise, the rocker arms hit the gussets in the valve cover, so back to the drawing board on that one. From what I can tell the rocker arms are shaped different on the carb'ed head and the injected head. Just a small setback.

Had a pretty good day, starting to get things caught back up. I finely took time to finish the truck motor and start it up. It would have made those TV shows jealous, it was first start up for that motor but it started and ran like you had been driving it everyday. The new intake is still back ordered till May 12, so I put the old one back on for now.
