Sounds like you got lucky! I have never heard of an insurance company covering owner screw ups. Well I can't wait to hear how it feels and performs with the new compressor wheel.

They are covering it under my comprehensive section of my insurance. They said that they would cover it and I am not going argue with them to find out the exact reason.

Hi Tim......
Just my Experience..........
I have been with State Farm Mutual for decades.

I have had numerous Comprehensive claims.....deer strikes....glass

I have had 5 accidents that were my (or my household) fault.

I have Never gotten a premium increase...Of course, not been dropped.

Hi Roy.
Sounds like you have been really fortunate but unfortunate at the same time, If you know what I mean. LOL
I have known this to be true and getting worse with insurance companies.
The insurance industry and the Gov't are about on the same level in my .02.
Sorry for the De rail OP.

No worries. I was just tickled pink when the insurance adjuster said it was covered. So obviously everyone was going to ask how that happened. Don't know but like I said I am not going to complain.
