Iphone 5 screen replacement?
Has anybody had to replace the glass and LCD screen on their iPhone? Of all the luck I dropped mine. Even with my case on it, it landed just right to break the glass. I went to sprint but they said $200. I said screw that. So I bought one off eBay for. $40 and a going to replace it myself.
Anything tips/ warnings?

Yes I have done that. Don't get the glass only option, spend a few extra and get the one with the frame on it. That glass is glued on and it's really hard to peel off without breaking the frame it's glued to.
You also need the kit with the special tools, it's only like $5. And those screws are really really tiny, I had to use some reading glasses haha.
Other than that watch the videos and you should be good. A few of the screws are different lengths so pay attention to that too.

My youngest son left his iPhone5C wrapped in a towel, where he works as a Lifeguard.
Picked up the towel, the phone went onto the concrete and the screen broke/cracked into hundreds of pieces.
He called the phone carrier and discovered that he doesn't have insurance on this phone.
Called the Apple Store at Annapolis Mall (Annapolis, MD) and they made and appointment for him, and they replaced the screen for $150 and change.
The ONLY downside to replacing the screen, yourself, is Warranty is no longer honored.
