Different years and bodies working together

Well, gonna try to get this Beast in my garage.

Gonna be close.

got it in. Had to let nearly all air out of tires.

'66 Galaxie '67 F100 truck frame cut 11 3/4" for wheelbase '78 Bonco running gear with 4.11 posi front and rear.
Motor is from Galaxie, 390 factory 4bbl. Made a few mods on the engine for more torque. SO far nothings out pulled me. Got the 9,000 lb capacity winch on a table.

FYI.... that mash-up is typically referred to as a "Trar" as in TRuck + cAR

.. at least it's a Ford on a Ford.

A Fouckar? There is some literary basis as the name comes up in The History and Adventures of Renowned Don Quixote De La Mancha (Vol 1) by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Fouckar was a rich merchant and many admired his wealth and wanted to be like him.

No, I am not BSing. Google it.

working on it

I built some time ago. My youngest was in diapers, now he's 31. I sold it about 5 years after it was built, it sold again and once more sold again. I tracked it down this year and the guy said he bought it so his son's could drive it on the farm. I asked him if he would sell it and showed him the pictures we took while I was building it and he said yes. He told me that it was in a barn on his farm and that the rain we had in 2010 flooded the barn and the water had gotten up mid way of the wheels. Well, I got it any way and had it towed home and now I have replaced the body, and am going with complete brake replacement, wheel bearings and everything front and rear. Hopefully when I drain the gearboxes they will be ok. So far there has not been much damage but the front drivers side hub. Will post oics of the rigging I did to mount the body. It's really not that bad but I'm cutting it way down to lower it. I had developed Multiple Sclerosis in 2008, will be 60 in a few months and it takes me twice as long to do things now. Thanks guys and will keep you updated.

Just get some stock rims and tires to make "rollers" for putting that cool a hell thing in the garage.

Yes not a great plan for quick in and outs, but if it is going in for a while.....

Or take the sawzall to the garage door header and mod it.
