Brake Backing Plate/Dust sheild

Hi Guys. My truck is starting to come together! I'm in need of the backing plate/dust shields for the front and maybe the back. mine a rusted and rattling around but, I can't find ant replacements.

Does anyone know where I might find them?

Thanks for any help!

I didn't find them in the LMC catalog, but may have missed them. However, you might try Jeff's Bronco Graveyard and NPD. Beyond that look at a salvage. But, some on here have done without the front ones on the disc brakes with no ill effects.

You can probably still get them from the Ford dealer. I recently got a set for my 94 Bronco. Try discountfordautoparts.com. They have dealer parts at discounted prices.

Here are the part numbers from the catalog, so you can check with the dealers. Or just Google them.

I am one of the ones who are not running them. Not because I didn't have any or they were rusted, but because I put the frontend back together and forgot to put them on. I didn't want to tear it all back apart to install them, so I tried it without and it's been 3 years now and no ill effects so far.

I know I am the one who preaches "if Ford put them on there, it had to be for a good reason", but I haven't figured it out yet.
