My 2011 F150 XLT supercrew has only 20k miles. I bought it certified preowned from a dealer at 12k miles. Recently truck started shaking at 70-80 mph. So much that my passenger seat looks like its going to shake loose. I took it to Ford and they balanced and rotated the tires. This has not fixed it. I was told by Ford that I need 4 new tires to correct the problem 100% that the tires are "egg-shaped". I'm not happy b/c how can tires be in such bad condition with only 20k on them? I purchased extended warranties on everything. Shouldn't this be covered? It's almost like they're defective? If anything please let me know if tires would cause this shaking at a specific speed range. I'm not looking forward to shelling out another grand for tires. Thank you!

Shaking
Have you stored your truck or has it been sitting for a long period of time you can get flat spots in tires,i had Goodyears on my truck and it sat for
1 1/2 years you have to put the truck up on stands if its going to sit for a extended period of time, mine was shaking like yours at that speed.

Tires
Jaypeakpro,
I was thinking you could have a broken belt in that right front tire to cause it to shake like that,If you got a extended warrentee on the truck that might be covered under a road hazzard but usually tired arent covered because they are a wearable item.If the tires are scalloped or worn uneven they can cause shaking.
